Representation - Junior Paramedic.
Junior Paramedic -
Age- Overall junior paramedic's is a positive representation, this is because its showing young adults doing something with their lives and saving peoples lives. This goes away for the stereotype of a young adults as most of them as going out getting drunk, and only caring about themselves. Also its a positive representation as they are saving people life's. This could appeal to teenagers 15 - 18 who are trying to figure out what they want to do with their life's. This will give them a idea of what people their age and doing. Also people who thinking about being a Paramedic could see involves and what they will have to cope with and see if they can deal with what happens. It shows the viewers what life they have and shows that they are just normal teenagers, who are doing things faster then stereotypical teenager.
Gender- With a guy being the first person at the start of the credits it could show that he has most power then the rest. Giving you an impression that he is better then the females. But there are more females within the show, giving you the impression that they know more about what they want to do with their lives. With everyone doing the clearing and washing up, it gives you an impression that everyone has the same amount of power within the halls.
Issues- The issues that are shown are negative, for example the car crash at the start. Giving the view different ideas of what happened, for example was he speeding and how did it happen. This could link to personal identity, someone being able to link to that and being in that situation.
Enthicity- most if not all are white showing on enthicity within the show, this is a negative representation.

Representation
Neighbours
Gender- Gender is shown in a different way in Neighbours. For example Paul is the shown to be the stereotypical bad guy, showing men in a negative way. He is also the mayor, giving the impressive that he has more power then anyone else. Also getting he impression that he is obsessed with power being the owner of the hotel and bar and being the mayor. thinking that he is better then anyone. You can get this impression when they show that he is in the penthouse. With Paul being in power it gives you an impression that stereotypical men should have more power then women. Also he always wearing a shirt and blazer, showing that he is working class and very wealth being able to but the suits.
A representation for a women is Susan, as she is the head teacher of the high school. this is a positive representation of her. This gives you an impression that she has power within the school, but with Paul as the mayor this give you the impression that he has power over her.
Another representation on men is when Dannii starts talking about her ex boyfriend, and how he was abusive to her, this is a negative representation of men. having close up of Dannii's face showing that she is scary, gives you an idea of how bad the abuse was. This is also shown with the camera's that she has put up and that are only on during working hours, showing that she does't want him to find her and that she is so scared to work, or go out anywhere. Also with her being really jumpy when clients come in, showing just how scared she is that he is going to find her.
Ethnicity- there isn't any ethnicity is neighbours, this is because all of the characters are white. This shows no diversity within the show. This now shows a negative representation of Neighbours.

This is from Graham Norton, with will and Jaden smith and Alfonso Riberio. The target aduience for this will be people over 16 to 35. Also the aduience will be fresh prince of Bel-air fans. People will watch this to see them not being a character and to see their life after fresh prince. Also as this is on after the news it will be attractive them.
Uses of Gratifications
Personal Identity: People might watch the show to see what one of the people are like, and see that they are just normal people, with a not normal job. They could also identify aspects of their personal life.
Entertainment: This will entertain a lot of the people as they will be able to see the celebrities. Also fresh prince is well known, so a lot of people may watch it just for that. also as they are singing the song, it will entertain a lot of people.
Social Integration: After watching this episode a lot of people will talk about it. they will talk about it because a lot of people will enjoy it and want to talk about it with there friends. People may also start doing the dance or rap and people will then start talking about.
How to improve
Audience question
From this question i need to add theories into my answer and use more media terminology. Also i need to expand on my points and go into more detail.

I need to come up with specific examples and go into a more detail with them. I need to make sure I don't just speak general about the example and talk specific about it. I also need to use different uses of language, to explain my points a lot more.

Homefront trailer
The american men a showed a narrowed mined, also they are shown as being violent. the boy is shown as thinking he is powerful and in charge by bullying the young girl. He thinks that he is better then her, pushing her and laughing at her. Girl then shows that she can also have the power and be in charge by punching the boy in the stomach. The older men with guns shown that he thinks he is in power. He is more powerful then someone without a gun.
